Roscoe Dash has a New Deal and maybe more hits with Travis Porter?

Roscoe Dash is preparing to shoot the video for his lead single “Sexy Girl Anthem” from his Ready Set Go album and speaking on his squashed beef with ATL rap trio Travis Porter.

As previously reported, Travis Porter released a video saying, “F*ck Roscoe Dash”, after a discrepancy with his hit “All The Way Turnt Up.”
Moving on from the situation Dash says the past is the past and the young Atlanta talents have talked out their issues.
When asked if a Roscoe Dash/Travis Porter record would be out of the question, he tells HipHopWired,
“I wouldn't say that, over the past couple months we actually sat down and had a conversation. We had the same show in North Carolina and the thing about that situation is that we really realized we really weren't the people who had a problem with each other.
It's always the outside people coming in who make situations bigger than they have to be, you know we were cool before all this happened.  It's just really good to get everything off your chest and we understand that.
So once we actually sat down and had this conversation, we realized that we all make good music so why not make the music our fans wanna hear us make, we have a lot of the same fans. I wouldn't count it out of the question at all.”

Since moving past the “beef”, Dash has inked a new record deal with Interscope and Music Line. Also tied in to the deal is Zone 4 producer Polow Da Don, known for introducing the world to Keri Hilson.
Speaking on his new deal, Dash says,
“My deal is a three way deal with Polow Da Don, Interscope and Music Line. I have a lot of good people on my team that are really down for my project. We all believe in working as a unit. “

Ready Set Go hits stores November 2.

Queen Latifah and VH1

Shout out to HipHopWired...

Rap veteran turned major actress Queen Latifah has something else to add to her resume. According to published reports the Queen Latifah-produced movie “Single Ladies” has been picked up by VH1 and expanded into a weekly television series.
As previously reported, Flava Unit partnered up with VH1 to give fans a new comedic drama airing exclusively on the network. At the the time, the drama was described as a film about two twenty something year old friends in Atlanta and their “very different takes on relationships.”
According to Variety, VH1 is describing the TV version as:
A comedic drama about a Val, Keisha, and April – three best friends with different philosophies on sex and relationships. Val ( Stacey Dash) is an ambitious aspiring fashion mogul who wants to find a true partner. Keisha (LisaRaye McCoy), on the other hand, is a former video dancer just looking for a rich man to keep her in style. April (Charity Shea) has supposedly found the perfect man and the perfect marriage – but is learning that marriage isn't necessarily a happy ending. Single Ladies is a modern, sexy series set in the world of Atlanta fashion, music, and celebrity that will constantly explore which woman has the right approach to relationships.

Latifah has released a statement saying,
“My (producing) partner Shakim (Compere) and I are excited to collaborate with VH1, as they have a similar vision on how to bring this show to life...I think ‘Single Ladies' will really fill a hole in what is needed on television today.”

The movie turned TV series starring Stacey Dash, LisaRaye McCoy, Charity Shea and DB Woodside, has an exclusive deal to become an eight-episode series for the network.
Latifah, who was not initially featured in the project, is now scheduled to make a guest appearance in the expanded TV version.
The movie was shot in the summer of 2010 and features guest appearances by Lauren London, Eve, Common, Chilli, and Kim Porter and is set to launch in July, 2011, according to Variety.
